Run away!  Run away! (must be said using your best Monte Python impression) ((If you don’t know what I’m talking about, do some research... you’re seriously missing out))

One of the hazards of being a college student is that a couple of times a semester you hit that breaking point when you’ve just got to get away.  As always, we’ve got you covered.  Take a weekend to unwind, hangout with some of the coolest people ever and maybe even learn a few things, not too many, just a few.  Mark your calendar now and in the meantime try not to be bitter at your roommate’s snooze button.

Chica Leadership Retreat

Sometime in the spring...

You don’t want to miss this girls only weekend, unless you’re a guy of course.  We don’t know where we’re going yet, but will be cheap and worth the drive.  So mark your calendar as soon as we get you the date.

Guys Leadership Retreat

The same weekend as the Chica Retreat...

Don’t worry guys, we didn’t forget you.  While the girls are off giving each other facials, or whatever they do on a “Chica Retreat” we’ll do something rugged and manly.  Again, no details yet, but wait in eager anticipation for the date to be announced.

Spring Leadership Retreat

I’ll give you a cookie if you can guess when.

This weekend will be a training for next year’s leadership team.  We use the word “training” very loosely.  Actually, we’ll camp, float the Buffalo, play a little ultimate, make a few hobo dinners, and somewhere in the middle of all that we might talk about a few leadership principles.  We’ll have more details later.

Fall Retreat

9/28/07 - 9/30/07

Come monkey around in Branson, MO, with all your new Chi Alpha friends.  We’ll stay in condos on Table Rock Lake, play in paddle boats, swim in the pool, talk about Jesus, and avoid homework for three days straight.  Anyone who’s not there has to be in the middle.  Get it? Monkey in the Middle... I’m so funny!
