Do I have to do something to “join” Chi Alpha?

The first step to getting involved in Chi Alpha is to come to the Well, which meets weekly in the Student Center Ballroom on Monday at 7:30 pm.  The next step is to get involved in a D-Group.  These small groups are the heart of Chi Alpha’s ministry and enable
students to join together and be transformed through real accountability, in depth biblical study, and faith-filled prayer.  If you haven’t been involved

The A-Team in Gibraltar

in a D-Group, chances are you haven’t really experienced the fullness of what Chi Alpha has to offer.  For more information on D-Groups, get in touch with a member of the staff or a student leader.

Is Chi Alpha a fraternity or sorority?

Nope.  Chi Alpha exists to introduce university students to Jesus and teach them to fulfill their part in the Great Commission.  We do this through one on one mentoring, small group discipleship, leadership training, large group study, and both personal and corporate prayer and worship.  By doing this, we can transform the University, the Marketplace and the World.

When does Chi Alpha meet?

Chi Alpha’s big group, “the Well,” meets every Monday night at 7:30 pm in the Student Center Ballroom.

Chi Alpha’s small groups,

“D-Groups,” meet at various times throughout the week.

Chris has really grown

What denomination is Chi Alpha?

Chi Alpha is a trans-denominational ministry.  The staff and students come from all different denominational backgrounds and we believe that our unity in Christ transcends denominational differences.  Our goal is to gather together as a body, learn from each others’ strengths, and experience a relationship with God that exists beyond doctrinal differences.

Does Chi Alpha have small groups?

Yes!  Chi Alpha has a number of small groups called D-Groups.  These “discipleship” based groups meet at various times throughout the week and exist to foster God centered, life long relationships.  It’s never to late to get plugged into a D-Group!
